Enroll in Self-Study

The first step to becoming accredited through the National Accreditation Commission for Early Care and Education Programs is to enroll in Self-Study.

Complete the online Self-Study enrollment below by choosing the fee that matches your Licensed Capacity (not Enrollment), and completing the application. You will also need to submit a copy of your Program License or Letter of Licensing Exemption.

The electronic Accreditation Manual will be sent via email within 5-10 business days of receipt of full payment, application, and licensing documentation. A hard copy of the Accreditation Manual in the form of a 3-ring binder is available for additional purchase and will be sent via United States Postal Service within 5-10 business days of payment. To add the hard copy Manual, click Pay This Fee Option for the appropriate licensed capacity bracket and change the Option drop-down menu to “Electronic and Hard Copy Accreditation Manual”.

The Self-Study is a minimum of six months and is effective for two years from the date of enrollment. Programs must submit the Request for Validation Visit and all required support documents/materials prior to the expiration of the Self-Study.
